2. The service

PixCity is a virtual 3D town. Each building can be bought once: its owner picks the emoji shown on the rooftop, a name and, optionally, a link. By using the site or buying a building, you accept these terms.

3. What you buy

• A building is a digital display spot in the town: it is not real estate, a security or an investment. It has no guaranteed resale value.
• One-time payment, no subscription. The building stays yours as long as the service runs.
• You can change the emoji, name and link for free from the town or “My buildings” (sign in with the e-mail used for the purchase).
• Prices: 2–3 floors 3 € · 4–5 floors 7 € · 6–8 floors 19 € · towers 49 €. The exact price is shown before payment.
• During payment, the building is held for you for 30 minutes.

4. Price, payment and billing

Prices are in EUR, including any applicable taxes. Payment is processed by Stripe; PixCity never receives your card details. Stripe sends you a receipt. The building is assigned to you as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, and you get a confirmation e-mail.

5. Withdrawal and refunds

The building is digital content supplied immediately after payment, at your express request: by ticking the box before paying, you ask for immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal. We give a full refund, to the card used, for duplicate payments, purchases of a building sold to someone else at the same moment, and purchases that could not be assigned because of a technical error on our side. 6. Emoji hunt

Finding the 8 hidden emojis in the town gives 20% off one building, once per visitor and per e-mail address. PixCity may end the game or refuse a discount obtained abusively (automation, multiple accounts…).

7. Allowed content and moderation

Your building’s name and link must not lead to: adult content, gambling, scams and phishing, malware or pirated software, counterfeits, weapons, drugs, hateful or illegal content, impersonation of a brand or a person. Some offensive emojis are refused. PixCity may hide at any time, without refund, the emoji, name or link of a building that breaks these rules. To report a building: Contact page.

8. Outbound links

Owners’ links are marked rel="sponsored nofollow". PixCity is not responsible for third-party sites or their offers.

9. Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it online, with no guaranteed duration. Our liability is limited to the price paid for the building concerned. No result (visits, clicks, sales) is guaranteed.

9a. Auctions, ads, PixCity+ and resales

• Auctions: every bid is binding. At the end, the highest bidder receives a payment link valid for 48 hours; without payment, the auction is cancelled and the building put back on sale. A bid placed in the last 2 minutes extends the auction by 2 minutes.
• Billboards: weekly rental, immediate display. Forbidden content (section 7) is refused; an abusive ad may be removed without refund.
• PixCity+: one-time payment for 30 days or 1 year, no automatic renewal. Perks: double points, golden aura, badge, visit statistics.
• Player resales: an owner may offer their building at a price they set. PixCity collects the buyer’s payment, keeps a commission (shown when listing) and pays the balance to the seller within 30 days. A building is not an investment: no resale price is guaranteed.

10. Trademarks, emojis and credits

PixCity is an independent service: it is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any trademark owner, font publisher or phone maker. The word “emoji” is used in its ordinary meaning, to describe the site’s content: Unicode pictographs shown on buildings. The town’s emoji graphics come from Twemoji (© Twitter, Inc. and contributors, CC-BY 4.0 licence); the Bricolage Grotesque and Nunito Sans fonts are under the SIL OFL licence. Building owners must not use a brand’s name, logo or characters without permission. For any trademark or copyright claim, write to us through the Contact page: we answer quickly and remove any disputed content.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Contact us first with any complaint: we look for an amicable solution.
